The true believers should do what they should always be doing. Living righteous lives, Christ taught that his second coming will be as "a thief in the night" meaning it will be a surprise and probably not broadcast 3 years in advance. The true believers will find themselves ready and the others will find themselves like the 5 virgins who forgot to buy oil.
