Is he right for me?...?

I've been going out with this guy for about a month now. We talk on I.M. and the phone a lot and we hang out at bball games & friend's houses. I've really liked him for a year and a half and have been flirting with him this whole past grade, and even when I was dating someone else I couldn't resist him, and he finally asked me out. At first I thought it was great, but the more I talk to him the more I realize how great of a friend he is, but I don't know if I like him as a boyfriend. I'm afraid if I break up with him we won't be able to be friends, which would be horrible! but if I don't break up with him, I feel like I'll never be sadisfied. I know that sounds conceided or whatever but I know when I really like a guy, and I just don't think he's the one. I've already told him I love him though because he kept saying it. I know I've leaded it on too far! Plz don't call me stupid, just tell what to do from hear. PLZ... should I just keep dating him and hope I'll start having better feelings for him, or break up now and risk any relationship with him ever again??? :S
