Is dry and scaly (areola) and pain that comes and goes a sign of early pregnancy?

My last period was on 03/22/08. I started my first round of Clomid on 03/27/08. Had ultrasound on 04/14/08 and doctor said it looks like I ovulated. My started hurting on 04/13/08 and the pain comes and goes. It’s not excrutiating but it hurts. It’s like a burning feeling that switches from each . It’s like a shoot pain that burns. My burn and the areola is extremely dry and scaly. My are also tender on the sides (where they’re connected to my chest). Friday, I felt pain going from my shoulders, arm pits, down to my thighs. I had some slight twinges in my stomach and very light cramping that lasts for 3 to 5 secons, but not too much cramping. I definitely have increased cervical mucus. It seems to be acidic. I don’t know WHEN I ovulated so I am not sure if I should take a test yet. I am also very afraid to take a test and it be negative with these symptoms.
