Battlefiled Bad Company find All Five for Demo???

Are you aloud to use the codes for the demo or BFBC? I already signed up for the newsletter and got the code for the M60 but i don't know how to unlock it. I already reached rank 4 on BFBC demo. and every time i want to unlock M60, its grayed out and i don't know where to put the code
