My friends situation..can u PLEASE HELP her with ur opinion?

ok so my friend just went through somestuff..she was goin out with this guy she loved very much for almost 4 years and they are 18 and 19 and broke up 6 months ago but a month ago she wanted to get back together with him and he ended up tellin her he couldnt give her what she wanted...she wants to be engaged b4 her b-day(19th b-day) and married by the time she's done school and have kid a year after...she told me that he told her that he didnt want to do those things so fast and that he wanted " to see the word " first and so she satyed with her new b/f even though she wants her ex...and a few days after this he came to her and taked to her and from what she said he enede up asking her to get back wih him b/c he trully loves her and she said she wants to but cant just leave her b/f now and so he just said ok and now they are just " friends"...but do u think it will work out between he rn her new b/f if he's her second pick and doesnt put her pride aside b4 its 2 late?
