What former confederate states still have a strong confederate lingering?
As for a "Strong" view of the reasons for succession, those ideals no longer apply. I suppose if you searched around you would find some somewhere. There are still ceremonies and re-enactments that occur throughout the states that were part of the C.S.A.. In our community these event happen once a year. Being from the south however, allot of families lost their great great grandparents in the war. It's a heritage that will go on forever and a since of pride in being Southern. So I suggest that all former C.S.A. States still have a lingering, but wouldn't say "strong".
