Is it weird to name my daughter Rowan just because of the meaning?

my husband has VERY red hair, and I have dirty blonde hair (naturally anyways) and I heard that red hair is way more dominant than blonde, so chances are our kids would have red hair. so is it weird to name my daughter rowan just because it means "little redhead" in Gaelic? also the name Liam...would it be weird to use that just because it's Irish even though my husband doesn't have any strong Irish roots? I just think it woudl be so cute!
