Why does my boyfriend always have an opinion about what i do when it comes to my business?

I have had a photography business for almost three years and i try to include my boyfriend in my endeavors but when i tell him something or show him something about some photos i have done or and event i am doing he always says something negative or always has an opinion he never says things positive. Now mind you he doesn't know anything about photography. Sometimes i feel like he is jealous of me because he doesn't have a business or am i over reacting.
