What programs do people recomend for converting a wav into mp3 format for itunes?

I don't do iTunes, but some good software for turning wavs into mp3 is LAME; the WinLAME front end is the easiest way to go, and completely free. Or, there's DBPowerAmp, which is great for m batch conversions of music from one format to another and for ripping CDs.
